The Holiday of Lights at the Del Mar Fairgrounds is a spectacular drive-through light show and exhibit, themed for the holiday season, with more than 400 crowd-pleasing, family-oriented displays.

The displays are organized into themes, which include: Candy Cane Lane, Toyland, San Diego County Fair, Treasures by the Lake, Del Mar Racetrack, the Twelve Days of Christmas and Elves at Play.

The Holiday of Lights is open every night between Nov. 26 and Jan. 3, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

NEW THIS YEAR – THE HOLIDAY HAYRIDE!
Let us do the driving while you enjoy the lights from an open-air haywagon. Sip a cup of hot chocolate or cider and nibble on a festive holiday cookie, all included in the $10.00 per person cost. While you wait to board, you’ll be entertained by carolers and you can say hello to Santa.

The Holiday Hayride will only be offered four times, all on Friday nights: Nov. 27, Dec. 4, Dec. 11 and Dec. 18. It leaves every half hour between 5:30 and 8:30PM. Don’t miss out on the fun. Call the Fairgrounds Box Office NOW to reserve your spot, 858-792-4252.
