Check This Out! This is what I found out on the Del Mar Fairgrounds Website. The Holiday of Lights at the Del Mar Fairgrounds is a spectacular drive-through light show and exhibit, themed for the holiday season, with more than 400 crowd-pleasing, family-oriented displays. The displays are organized into themes, which include: Candy Cane Lane, Toyland, San Diego County Fair, Treasures by the Lake, Del Mar Racetrack, the Twelve Days of Christmas and Elves at Play. The Holiday of Lights is open every night between Nov. 26 and Jan. 3, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. NEW THIS YEAR – THE HOLIDAY HAYRIDE! The Holiday Hayride will only be offered four times, all on Friday nights: Nov. 27, Dec. 4, Dec. 11 and Dec. 18. It leaves every half hour between 5:30 and 8:30PM. Don’t miss out on the fun. This is what I found out on the Website: The Mother Goose Parade is the largest parade in San Diego County and the largest of its type west of the Mississippi.
